• Liaison with the Commercial and Technical team for garnering market trends, inputs, demands and also adapting to newly developed standards and regulations.
• Lead and translate the gathered information above into development projects for new or improved passive fire protection systems and products in order to stay ahead and be more competitive and attractive in the market
• Provide guidance and advice to Technical Support Engineers in the region in designing systems for their respective markets
• Evaluate and approve system fire test project requests from within the Asia Pacific region that will be carried out in either internal or external fire test lab
• Lead installation of specimens and make critical decisions in ensuring the progress of fire tests is as smooth as possible
• Analyse and study fire tests to understand better the behaviour of the product and system and produce internal post-test analysis reports that summarises the main contributions that lead to the success or failure of the fire test
• Representing the Technical Department as the Product and System application specialist for internal and external engagements such as presentation, site visits, project proposal and technical calculations.
• Establishing a good relationship with all test laboratories, assessment bodies, certification bodies etc. for the ease of arranging test to be conducted, updating assessments reports and relevant certificates and approvals.
• Involvement in Global innovation projects as required by Main HQ
• Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions to enhance competency in product and system applications knowledge for internal departments and external customers.
• Constantly involved in the market of the allocated segment through customer discussions, seminars, consultant visits, site visits, professional membership, trade shows, etc., to keep updated on latest market and design trend, product development and technologies in the industry

• Develop new fire rated systems from fire rated walls, ceilings, ducts, M&E enclosures etc.
• Evaluate, design, arrange and execute system fire test projects as planned within the Technical Department in Asia Pacific
• Conducting training program in relates to system development to internal and external resources for updates and continual of sharing technical information
• Lead and assist in drafting of system assessment for local countries or Asia Pacific needs when necessary
• Providing technical supports i.e. calculations and design verification work in relates to product and system development to peers in Asia Pacific region when needed
• Involvement in development work projects as assign by main HQ

• Prime Technical Support to all countries and covering all aspects of Promat products and services.

Assigned to the Engineering Product Innovation Department with the following tasks:

• Conception and construction/design of drive units, control panel and Housing for E-Bike Battery Unit in Pro-Engineer
• Preparing technical documents and presentation as a part of training of a production scheduler
• Classification of products and Benchmarking research

Pre-study practical training prior to studying in Germany:

Hands on training in mechanical engineering field which comprise of basic electrical and electronics skills and fundamentals, pneumatic and hydraulic technology, basic metal processing skills such as welding, turning, milling (conventional and CNC), engineering metrology, technical communication and grinding as well as 2D Autodesk CAD.
