1. New Product Development (NPD) Testing and Packaging Material Evaluation

· Lead the testing and evaluation of new packaging materials to ensure they meet functional and quality standards.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (NPD dept, R&D and Purchasing dept) to conduct material compatibility and performance testing, analyze results, and provide recommendations.

· Maintain detailed records of NPD testing, including procedures results, and any corrective actions.

· Prepare and present findings to stakeholders to inform decision-making.

· Develop training materials on operational procedures and system updates related to packaging and improve according all the material from time to time.

2. Mock-up and Sample Card Management

· Ensure that sample cards and mock-ups are align with the approved NPD outcomes reflecting accurate specifications and packaging design.

· Organize and store records systematically using Excel to ensure easy retrieval and ensuring accurate documentation of any changes or revisions.

· Maintaining records of pending mock-ups and liaising with cross-functional teams (NPD dept and Purchasing dept).

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring mock-ups and sample cards are properly stored and labelled for packaging inspections.

3. Incoming packaging material (IPM) checking and release

· Perform checking and release of incoming packaging materials (IPM) through the SAP system based on approved sample card and mock-up using comprehensive checklist.

· Identify and document any non-compliance during the checking process, preparing detailed for superior to conduct corrective actions and follow-ups.

· Develop and update training materials on IPM inspection procedures, providing clear guidance for team members. Assist in the creation of reference materials for system remarking during SAP system releases, ensuring proper documentation and smooth system updates.

4. Involve in 3rd party finish goods, finish goods release and finish goods approval at warehouse

• Preparing the raw material/packaging requisition form and monitoring the preparation process
• Recording the raw material and packaging stock card
• Receiving, inspecting and managing the storage of incoming raw material and packaging
• Recording, monitoring and verifying every production record

• Successful determine the 3-Monochloropropane-1,2-Diol in food (3-MCPD), Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons Steroid and Stilbene in various food and agricultural materials under supervision of Science Officer
• Conduct a project entitled Validation of Dry Matter for 3-MCPD Analysis aside from the routine analysis under supervision of Science Officer
