Major responsibilities:

• Competent person for IETS: CePIETSO (PCP)
• Process monitoring and plant optimization for edible oil refinery process and wastewater treatment.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement and implemented corrective actions accordingly.
• Review project proposals from vendors, selecting the most cost-effective options while balancing required specifications.
• Participate in safety audits, ensuring a secure working environment for all employees.
• Provided technical support to troubleshoot equipment issues, minimizing downtime and maintaining production targets.
• Reduced equipment downtime by performing regular maintenance checks and addressing issues promptly.
• Ensuring that production processes comply with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manages, leads and trains downlines such as plant supervisors, technicians, and operators on plant process, operation, and safety.

Accomplishments:

• Improved plant throughput/productivity
• Reduced effluent treatment cost
• Increased IETS sludge filtration capacity through implementation of MFP
• Reduction in bleaching earth consumption in refinery plants
• Project lead in refinery plant improvement projects (Heat exchanger upgrade, hardware upgrade to reduce downtime, utilities and plant operating supplies)
