Summary

I am a conscientious, motivated and enthusiastic teacher who produces consistently good to outstanding lessons. I firmly believe that every child is an individual who deserves the opportunity to develop and reach their true potential. My classroom provides an environment where children feel safe and comfortable and allow time for personal reflection. Children are encouraged to experiment, evaluate and promote their learning whilst demonstrating respect for others and developing lifelong habits.

As a class teacher, I was responsible for planning and delivering differentiated lessons. I monitored, evaluated and assessed pupils' progress. I also worked closely with other teachers and parents.

EAL/SEN Teacher

Newton International School
08.2013 - 07.2015

I worked with students across the primary school and early years departments. With great success, I helped them improve their ability in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I ensured students were given the best opportunity to reach their potential in all curriculum areas by reducing the language barrier and building their confidence and motivation. I worked closely with class teachers to inform them about pupils’ progress. I shared my knowledge about students’ abilities and needs and encouraged teaching staff to use this knowledge effectively in planning, teaching and student grouping.
