Currently, Vincent serves as a Regional Sourcing Manager, overseeing sourcing strategies for the entire ASIAN region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia. He is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and identifying data to achieve company sustainability, supply chain, and cost savings objectives, particularly for steel commodities, building and plastic works, equipment, and contractors' works. In his previous role as Strategic Sourcing Manager (Country Lead), Vincent managed the development and implementation of a company-wide strategic procurement platform for maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) service and supply contracts and capital expenditures. He was responsible for aggregating and leveraging purchasing power, increasing operational efficiency, and increasing profitability.
In his previous roles, Vincent was team lead and in charge of Sentul West Station & Escape Shaft 1, Hospital KL Station & Intervention Shaft 1, bidding new M&E works, M&E Major Equipment procurement, and budget control. He was also responsible for delivering MRT line 1 Merdeka and Bukit Bintang Stations, both with a value of up to RM 110 million. In his earlier career, he was an Operation Engineer in a steel mill before joining KNM as a Procurement Engineer in the Oil & Gas field Upstream, where he oversaw end-to-end procurement activity for the Pengerang, P5 Project.
Vincent's project experiences are diverse and include overseeing Asia Sourcing activity, providing sourcing strategies to top management, managing contracts and tenders, providing coaching and mentoring, and managing budgets and cost controls. As a Country lead-Sourcing Manager, he oversaw the entire Shell retail in Malaysia for OPEX and CAPEX works with a value of up to MYR 80-90 million per year. He managed tender activities, contract management, budget, cost control, vendor management (KPI Standardization), and proposed a strategic aggerating and leveraging purchasing power to increase operational efficiency for stakeholders. Vincent also led the procurement for new plant set-up, purchasing SOP set-up, and purchasing strategy, sourcing, inventory, and cost control for the Pengerang Package 5 project.
Vincent's professional background includes certification in BIM, Construction Management, and Supply Chain Management. He is also a certified Contract Administrator with expertise in analytical costing and management skills for MEP, major equipment budget control, and cost spent. He has extensive knowledge in Engineering (MEP services and Metallurgy Engineering), Contract and Supply Chain Management, and Contract Management (pre & pro) in construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing.
