Saw Soo Fang

I am currently working as Financial Controller in a private group of companies, having competently provide or practicing my expertise not only in property development and construction division, but also in investment division and operator chain of business. I am a fast learner and able to work independently under demanding timeline and budget constraint with minimal supervision.

Besides, I am also a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), associate member of Chartered Tax Institution of Malaysia (CTIM) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). My initial professional training was in audit and tax, having been an auditor with Ernst & young, an international accounting firm for a period of 5 years.

My interest, knowledge, experiences and skills sought after by the accounting profession has led me to further my higher education in Taxation law (i.e. Transfer Pricing issue) at Ph. D level. I passed my first degree in accounting (pass with distinction) from University of Malaya in year 2005. After that, I continue my professional degree as part timer with ACCA while collecting my professional experiences with EY. I passed all 5 papers with my first attempt within a year in 2006 and being awarded cash award of RM1k from EY's Region Partner.

With the flying color, I am proud to be shortlisted as one of the candidate to pursing Doctorate Degree in USM with a waiver of attending Master Degree. In year 2023, I have completed my PhD study specialized in taxation (transfer pricing division) in USM.
