  • Lead & Master on Static Data process. Assigned as trainer since static data migration. Previously under Recon team but currently set up under new team known as Business Support team.
  • Responsible to ensure all safe keeping requesting from Broker accounts have been set up in the system before any trade cycles process. Fund Admin send form request account opening set up with the details of fund, associate account, types of accounts, cut off time etc. Then Custody Client Service will set up ledger in the system call Integrated Messaging System and meantime Global Network team will request custodian to send swift MT950(Cash) & MT 536 – transaction MT535 – position level regardless of activity & daily.
  • Once the account set up received, static team (Business Support team) will further processing open the account in TLM – Transaction Lifecycle Management for reconciliation.
  • Point of contact and trainer for Account static data and maintenance Cash & Stock team (New account opening & closed account).
  • Lead & Master on Global Custody Hong Kong Stock reconciliation on daily & monthly task (ie: huddle, knowledge exchange, Business Contingency Plan’s handling, Operating Instruction & etc)
  • Lead and preparing audit document for external auditor (Pwc-Price Water Coopers).
  • Lead most of migration project for reconciliation team (IMS platform – Multifonds migration, Broker Migrations, Fund Migration & etc)
  • End 2024 start handling Mena Reconciliation for few regions i.e: Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi &UAE.
  • Lead on the Operating Instruction for all Middle East region.

  • The main function of the Reconciliations teams is to ensure that data held on the Group’s systems agree with various third parties and between internal systems at a transaction and/or position level. The team will then allocate and escalate them to the business areas responsible for resolving the discrepancies.
  • The main tasks undertaken are:
  • Performing daily and monthly reconciliation and preparing report to Singapore Business Partners at our end.
  • Identification and allocation of breaks for the Cash, Stock, Fixed Deposit, Forex Forward and Dividend Distribution reconciliation. This is done across several platforms/systems.
  • Identifying a break and informing to the related teams appropriately.
  • Escalating and consistent following up all the daily and monthly missing statement to Fund Services Singapore onshore team and brokers.
  • Timely escalation of breaks and do follow up for those breaks related until the break resolved at our end.
  • Ensuring the Colombo team all system related is accessible, in same time as point of contact to raise an access for newbie for Colombo and KL team and providing sufficient training to Colombo team (knowledgeable same level as KL Rec’s team) before Business Contingency Plan take place.
  • Preparing, updating and sending an approval to Singapore Business Partner onshore team) for Fund Services Singapore Reconciliation procedures (Manual Procedure update).
  • Updating Fund Services Singapore Recs KRI-Key Risk Indicator month report on monthly basis before 5 business day.
  • As Fund Services Singapore Recs SME’s also responsible to preparing and providing data required to auditor as regular review for team. Then brief further explanation which is related to processing and reconciliation overview including background or cycle for each rec’s cube, system required, source (statement & ledger), method on how to perform on reconciliation, breaks, escalation matrix, output (report) and etc to auditor if required.

  • Responsible on CASH reconciliation and investigation for Global Custody Hong Kong team.
  • Have an experience in the Stock queues and responsible performing as a Checker for STOCK before.
  • Expertise in most of the reconciliation Cash queues such as Omnibus, Segregated, Intersystem & all miscellaneous tasks.
  • Excellent & expertise on Account Maintenance follow up for cash and stock queues & investigation matter.
  • Maintaining good work relationship with team members, Global Custody Hong Kong Recon serve Hong Kong business partners positively.
  • Successfully attended all incoming mail/query or any request promptly. Currently, taking role as main point of referral for Stock Reconciliation, all account maintenance related & Cash Segregated queues.
  • Responsible on ensuring Migration process creep such as Segregated Cash 1000++ account sailed smoothly and received compliment from Hong Kong business partners. Meantime, I’m also received compliment from Hong Kong Business Partner for willing stay back from 12am for ensuring queue in Spike volumes completed (Segregated Cash queue).
  • Attended Yellow Belt training and contributed process enhancement idea to Change management team. The idea has been approved and certified as able to save 50% productivity time on account maintenance queue.
  • Capability as one of the strong performers who are multi-tasking which manage to handle 90% queues in all Reconciliation team and in the same time assist Line Manager provide training on Segregated Cash, Stock Reconciliation and Audit Confirmation to all peers.
  • Received award as Best Performer of Global Support Executive (GSE) on the Global Banking Market in the 2nd quarter of 2011.
