- Group leader for Product & Equipment Engineers
- Spearhead investigation, troubleshooting and mitigation of major failures as well as generate Corrective Action & Permanent Action (CAPA) report on SMT related quality issues to customers
- Supervise the production operator, material handlers and line leaders in achieving quantity and quality output by conducting training with regular periodic follow up and review their work performance
- Responsible in overall of process development, programs, and tooling for prototype (NPI)
- Lead machine capability and verification testing for placement and screen-printing accuracy and repeatability of process
- Lead operations and costs analysis in resolving manufacturing as well as facilities problems to minimize downtime
- Developed standard operating procedures, work instructions and training for equipment setup, operation, and programming
- Spearhead introduction of new technology and methods including 0201 & print / placement and reflow
- BGA, QFN assembly and rework,4mm BGA/CSP, various miniature bottom terminated devices as well as flex and rigid flex circuit assembly process and tooling
- Lead the SMT equipment setup and ensure high-quality products while maximizing line productivity
- Lead the team to improve the overall yield of the operation including Process, Equipment to ensure to meet the Overall Equipment Efficiency goal, by strong organizing, planning, priority setting and analytical/problem solving skills
- Generate monthly KPI report to management
- Performs continuous improvement activity using lean tools for cost reduction, quality improvement, improved efficiency, and improved material flow
- Perform time studies to establish base-line metrics, clearly identify production bottlenecks, and develop automation solutions for improvement
- Lead the SMT equipment setup and ensure high-quality products while maximizing line productivity
- Create the master preventive maintenance schedule
- Have a good communication with vendor and supplier for tooling on time delivery
- To carry out study on minimizing downtime on machine /equipment, analyze machine down time data and monitor actual root cause
- To review the critical and non-critical spare part of the machine
- To review SOP, record, and the work instruction for maintaining the machinery
- To provide and execute job training to Engineer and Technician following the right method
- Establish effective total productive maintenance procedure to ensure proper execution
