  • Business Development and Strategic Planning - Identify the right target audiences, discover potential market and expanding for the University of Melbourne. Maintain strong brand presence in the competitive market through connections, network, fairs and exhibition. Built a strong pipeline of student recruitment in Malaysia and successfully recruited more than 650 students to study at University of Melbourne in the recent years. Being nominated by leadership to attend and support student recruitment activities in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand (although Thailand is outside of portfolio) in 2023 and 2024. Collaborate with internal stakeholder Trinity College delivering presentations (physical and virtual) to the targeted audience. Good attendance rate (the highest attendance rate was nearly 90% in 2024) and more than 50% targeted audience placing application/going to place application to Trinity College in 1-2 months. Based on the positive outcome, this event has continued to be organized annually.
  • Event and Project Management - Delivered successfully the annual flagship events — University of Melbourne Info Day (located in Singapore & Malaysia), Regional Agent Training and University of Melbourne Pre-departure Briefings in Kuala Lumpur. Making decision based on data, placing positive stakeholder and customer experience, digital and on-site operational efficiency in mind. More than 1,000 people attended the mentioned events since 2019.
  • Initiative and Problem Solving - Identified communication gaps quickly when the market responded negatively to the unpredictable changes in Australia government policy in higher education sector starting from Q3, 2024. Initiated and implemented a cost-effective and structured 'Agent Drop-in session' to address any concern proactively that were received from the market and stakeholders and for stakeholders to receive timely update. The virtual session was organized since October 2024 and received more than 250 participants (accumulated) in March 2025. Based on a very positive outcome and feedback, it is has now become a regular session and continue to organized by the current team.
  • Data Analysis - Frequent use the data analysis approach (e.g. Power BI, Salesforce, Qualtrics) and reported in SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) analysis approach to support my direct supervisor and the Thailand regional manager in their business planning. Report supported with data, chart and some necessary photos.
  • Cross-cultural Communication and International Project Collaboration - collaborate in multiple cross-border projects regularly with colleagues from Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, China, India and the United States. Projects including virtual Welcome to Melbourne Pe-departure Briefings, University of Melbourne Open Day, Ask an Undergrad and Melbourne Unpacked. Events successfully engaged to the right targeted audiences and built the strong pipeline for current and future recruitment.
