Anthroposophy (Waldorf Education and Bio-Dynamic agriculture)
Anthroposophy is a spiritual philosophy that was founded by Austrian philosopher, Rudolf Steiner, in the early part of the 20th century. It is a worldview that emphasises a holistic and spiritual understanding of humanity and the world, integrating knowledge and insights from social, artistic, and scientific realms.
Waldorf Education is a pedagogical approach developed based on the principles of anthroposophy. It provides an alternative approach to traditional schooling by focusing on individual student development in a nurturing and holistic way. Waldorf schools emphasise creative, hands-on, experiential learning, while taking into account the developmental stages of the child. They also seek to foster the child's imagination, artistic expression, and critical thinking skills.
Bio-dynamic agriculture is agriculture that is based on the principles of anthroposophy, recognising the importance of working in harmony with nature. It views the farm as a living organism, and seeks to balance the ecological and spiritual aspects of farming. Bio-dynamic agriculture employs specific, holistic practices such as crop rotation, composting, and the use of special preparations made from nature to help improve soil fertility and crop yields.
I believe that the fundamental principles shared in Anthroposophy and Project Management compel me to build a solid foundation that can withstand any challenges or changes that come our way. As a project manager, I am equipped to handle any issues that arise in a project by ensuring that I have a strong base to fall back on. This approach helps me weather any setbacks and come out even stronger as a human being.
