As an advocate of the environment and cleanliness it all started out with a solo beach clean up some 10 years ago, along the way Trash Hero Kota Kinabalu was discovered and that is where I became a regular volunteer and thereafter appointed to become the current Chapter Leader of Trash Hero Kota Kinabalu.

It was recorded that Trash Hero Kota Kinabalu have done a total of 71 clean ups since 2019 with an accumulated total rubbish of 37,549kg collected and from that figure a total of 602kg was recycled. Collaborations has been done with at least 45 organizations around Kota Kinabalu including government bodies, private colleges, local universities and concerned individuals just for the year of 2023 alone. Awareness talks to further reinforce the effectiveness of the beach clean up and it was conducted to several private schools and colleges.

As for 2024 until currently in March THKK had done at least 9 clean ups with various organizations and the community. THKK have also participated in booth exhibitions under the invitation of government agencies and so many more collaborations is lined up for this year alone until the end of the year.

I have participated in  6 international marathons such as Bali, Auckland, and four in Kota Kinabalu. I am also a Trail runner enthusiast having completed ultra distance as far as 70 km at most. I have also scaled Mount Kinabalu 4 times . I am now still actively running during my free time to maintain fitness and to keep healthy.
