Site Survey & Design
• Conducted FTTH & OSP site surveys to gather data per client guidelines for various telecom operators.
• Designed & planning cost-effective fiber optic networks (FTTH, OSP, ISP) using Google Earth and AutoCAD 2D.
• Prepared technical proposals, core assignments and BOQs to ensure accurate cost estimation.
• Liaised with clients regarding BOQ line items, project requirements, finalize design and TP approval.

Project Coordination, Implementation & Planning
• Led an 8-person in-house survey team, planning schedules for 110 sites across Selangor and Perak to achieve timely milestones.
• Managed subcontractor survey teams across Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan and other regions to ensure meet project deadlines.
• Developed project schedules using Omniplan and tracked a progress using Excel from execute until closure.
• Ensured subcontractors had all necessary equipment and resources team upon implementation.
• Oversaw subcontractor work to ensure compliance with safety, design, civil infra and cable installation standards including fiber splicing quality using fusion splicer, VFL, light source, power meter and OTDR to comply with telco specifications.
• Identified site risks by spotting potential problems and provided action plans.
• Liaised with clients regarding site infrastructure issues to seek advice and solutions.
• Worked closely with procurement regarding material purchase, clearly define subcontractor SOW and claims.

Permitting & Documentation
• Prepared EOT reports for delays, reviewed subcontractor variation orders and material usage qty.
• Conducted pre-installation with subcontractors and post-installation inspections with clients to verify punch list.
• Prepared handover documents.
• Worked closely with internal permitting to engaged with LA/LC to clarify requirements to proceed construction drawing, UDM and TMP.
• Collaborate with internal permitting to conducted site walks with LA/LC to brief them on implementation to secure permit.

Site Survey & Design
• Conducted in-building site survey for CME, microwave LOS and fiber and power cable routing for DAS design ; participated project tenders, site sharing and upgrades for various telco operators.
• Designed DAS locations, schematic diagrams, equipment room layouts, cable routing and isometric drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
• Prepared Technical Proposal (TP) reports and material lists based on designs.

Project Execution & Site Supervision
• Supervised subcontractor teams on-site to ensure they followed safety and installation standards while monitoring progress and identifying potential risks.
• Attended technical kick-off meetings with building management before project start.
• Inspected during installation to match design requirement and quality standards.
• Handled scope changes through negotiation due to design changes.

Testing & Documentation
• Performed walk tests to analyse coverage before and after DAS installations, achieving up to 85% coverage improvement in targeted areas.
• Attended site inspections with clients and building management post-installation, compiled Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) documents and prepared as-built drawings.
• Performed ad hoc duties such as applied permit applications and material logistics as assigned.

Design & Drafting
• Prepared and revised drawings including details drawings, equipment room layouts, elevations, sections, single-line diagrams, rack arrangements and electrical schematics for subsystems (BTN, WDCS, Radio, CCTV, PA, PIDS, Telephone, Master Clock and UPS) using AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D.
• Designed cable routes and determined sizes for secondary containment.
• Reviewed and updated Combined Services Drawings (CSD) and Structural Electrical Mechanical (SEM) drawings based on latest subsystem locations.
• Collaborated with internal departments such as civil interface and subsystem PICs also attended interface workshops with civil contractors to finalize cable routes and equipment locations.

Coordination & Support
• Monitored subcontractor drafter teams to ensure compliance with drawing quality.
• Conducted site visit to collect measurements for as-built drawings.
• Provided technical support to installation teams for drawing-related issues and performed additional drawing-related tasks as assigned.
