Conducted on-site testing, pre-commissioning, and acceptance testing during the project. Participated in commissioning at the D18 location for the first water injection. Executed routine and emergency maintenance on analog and digital electronics, as well as networks used for data collection, processing, transmission, reception, and recording. Performed periodic inspections, testing, adjustments, calibrations, and servicing activities to ensure the proper operation of process instrumentation and control systems within the D18 WIF treatment process. Took ownership of the Automated Fire and Gas System (AFGS), Process Monitoring and Control System (PMCS), and Safety Instrumented System (SIS), participating in regular operational integrity and safety tests to verify the functionality of smoke detectors, heat detectors, hazardous and explosive gas detectors, flame detectors, hydrogen detectors, process alarm instrumentation, protective monitoring systems, and computerized control system fault detection and failover function.

• Proposed a new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for the AFGS system to enhance monitoring of safety critical elements (SCEs).
• Executed a new system tie-in for AFGS, linking it with the Distributed Control System (DCS) for improved monitoring.
• Designed an AFGS overview graphic using FactoryTalk StudioView, which was integrated into the DCS, and configured all logic using RSLogix5000, achieving cost savings of nearly RM90,000.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Performed daily Instrument Preventive Maintenance (PM) routines based on Work Orders (WO) provided by the Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, or Instrument Team Lead. Conducted troubleshooting and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks in response to process upsets, equipment failures, or plant shutdowns. Involved in station start-ups, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities. Actively participated in daily safety meetings, scheduling meetings, Crew HSSE meetings, and other regularly scheduled sessions.

Participated in various on-site operations at platforms and terminals, including F23 Hub, E11 Hub, South Furious, D35, Tukau, West Lutong, Baronia, Bokor, Bayan, D-18, Temana, Baram, PC4, Labuan Crude Oil Terminal (LCOT), and Miri Crude Oil Terminal (MCOT).
