-Capacity & Space management such as close monitoring on allocations given by MSC GVA MSC RO. Updating prospects upon checking on market activities & branches performance and follow GVA guideline either on revenue driven policy or volume driven policy.
-Require to having market and trade knowledge of the country for presentation to Geneva as and when needed.
-Communicate with inter dept team on GVA Trade directions, strategies & goals.
-Conduct internal trade training to all employees to have better understanding and knowledge when performing their day to day task.
-Prepare weekly market and ad hoc report to Geneva/ MSC ARO SIN.
-Work closely with Sales team to ensure trades target are met.
-Close monitor of trade performance and proactive actions if necessary.
-Proactively update Geneva of any new market developments and competition activities.
-Assist to resolve trade and service issue, by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
-Manage all FOB activities, which includes liaising with POD agent on weekly prospect, space utilization and availability.
-Cargo selection and yield management to ensure healthy balance of high / low paying cargo for respective trades daily.
-Conference call with GVA/ ARO to report and update on market activities.
-Overseeing tasks perform by Trade Coordinator.
-Mentoring and providing guidance to Trade Coordinator for future career advancement.
-Accept ad hoc tasks assign by Commercial Manager or Management/GVA.
-Handle key account - Reliance (Recron) with est.12K TEUs per annum.
-Handling clients daily basis enquiry and support Sales team in providing quotation to client.
-File rates with principal in LARA system.
-Prepare various type of reports for Sales team (whenever report needed).
-Generating weekly and monthly export reports for Sales team.
-Supporting the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations.
-Provide data to IRA member via monthly basis.
-Provide top accounts by each trade lanes.
-Analyze lost account by each trade lanes.
-Adhoc - compiling presentation for Sales team (when require).
-Handling sales planner and sales visit report (for sales team).
-Update export sales kit tools.
-Update export Tariff rates.
-Data entry in documentation team for 3 months to familiar with shipping term.
-Handling clients daily export booking and their volume.
-Liaise with various of shipping line for export rates.
-Trouble shooting/solve client's issue under Manager's care/instruction.
