Generate a dataset with a simple linear relationship between the independent and dependent variables
Perform a simple linear regression on the original dataset
Introduce outliers by randomly manipulating a certain percentage of data points
Use statistical methods like the Mean, Median and IQR to identify outliers
Repeat the linear regression analysis on the dataset with outliers
Visualize the regression line along with the data points, and highlight the outliers in the scatterplot using ggplot
Use a For Loop to compare the intercept, regression coefficients, MSE, Bias and Variance between the original and outlier-affected datasets multiple times
Repeat the process with different types and percentages of outliers to understand the sensitivity of the model to various outlier scenarios
