-Receive and register new insurance claims from clients
-Review claim documents for completeness and policy coverage
-Advise clients on claims procedures, required documentation, and policy terms
-Liaise with insurance companies, adjusters, surveyors, and legal parties regarding claim progress
-Follow up on pending claims and negotiate settlements where necessary
-Monitor claim status and provide regular updates to clients
-Ensure compliance with company policies, insurer requirements, and regulatory standards
-Handle claim disputes, rejections, and escalations professionally

Insurance line handled: Workers Injury Compensation (WICA), Personal Accident and Travel claims for Singapore and Hong Kong’s Market.

-Investigating eligible claims and determining liability for recovery prospects based on The Work Injury Compensation Act (WICA) of Singapore and The Employees Compensation Ordinance of Hong Kong.
-Collaborating with the team in Singapore and Hong Kong to correspond with respective claim handlers, agents, brokers or the Insured themselves for documents needed.
-Negotiating settlements with parties at fault and their Insurers.
-Proactively seek for follow-ups from our panel solicitors based in Singapore and Hong Kong for matters assigned.
-Occasionally providing updates to the Employee Compensation Claims Manager in Singapore and Hong Kong.
-Managing claim files by ensuring proper documentation and keeping a record of all recovery efforts.

-Drafting opinions by providing legal advice in relation to Third-Party Bodily Injuries (TPBI) and Property Damage (PD) based on the Compendium of Personal Injury Awards (PIR) to Insurers.
-Researching current and past legal cases to be used in opinions.
-Preparing witness statements for cases and other supporting documents that solicitors may use for reference or for filing to court.
-Fact-check documents, legal filings to ensure they have reliable information and proof-read documents.
