Manager - Organisational Development

Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement organisation-wide development programmes for RSPO employees with the objective to build RSPO capabilities towards becoming the industry leader in sustainable palm oil industry and to promote an engaged workforce through effective Learning & Development, employee engagement and talent management initiatives.


As a Manager of Organisational Development, my work focuses on driving transformative change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation. I spearhead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, streamline processes, and develop leadership capabilities to ensure we remain agile and innovative. By leveraging data-driven strategies and collaborative approaches, I design and implement programs that empower teams, promote diversity and inclusion, and align our workforce with the company's strategic goals. My passion lies in creating a thriving workplace where every individual can reach their full potential, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the organisation.


Learning & Development
● Planning, developing, implementing and administering impactful learning & development programs for employees based on training needs analysis
● Explore and propose other learning & development strategies, systems or tools to be implemented that are beneficial for employees’ career development in RSPO Talent Management & Succession Planning

● Plan, manage & execute HRDC fund utilisation effectively according to HRDC claimable trainings


Talent Management, Succession Planning & Partnership
● Maintain & update RSPO's Organisation Charts including review of Job Descriptions if there's any new/replacement hire & transfer

● Align with the authorized consultant to conduct talent review (profiling, assessment etc.) and high potential talents (HiPOs) and recommend areas for development
● Follow through on individual development plan based on performance appraisal & training needs analysis for HiPOs to build internal talent pool ready for career advancement within RSPO Employee Engagement

● As the key liaison for universities partnership


Employee Engagement
● Plan, propose and implement festive celebrations, certain International Day (based on United Nations designated International Days, e.g. World Mental Health Day/International Women's Day), regular social activities to build networking among employees and promote a fun and inclusive work environment
● Prepare quarterly HR Newsletters to keep employees informed and engaged on latest people initiatives

● Conduct employee engagement survey

● Engagement via social media (LinkedIn)


Performance Management
● Facilitate annual KPI setting for all employees, including the guideline, time frame, approval and communication
● Manage annual performance management system and closely work with the vendor who maintains the system including system enhancement initiatives
● Facilitate and organise performance evaluation at financial year-end including evaluation guideline, rating, calibration and approval, and ensure all the processes are in line with the time frame
