Procurement – logistics vendors selection. Preparing RFQ/RFI for logistics procuring which included warehousing, local distribution, freight forwarding and project logistics.
Handling both inbound and outbound daily activities.
Inventory management – carry out quarterly stock count planning, stock reconciliation and ensure stock accuracy KPI achieve.
Transportation Management – managing/planning/monitoring transportation arrangement between clients & 3PLs for both domestic’s delivery and exporting delivery which including monitoring real time traffic tracking for the deliveries.
Inbound – responsible for arrangement of incoming shipments with shippers/local suppliers/local transporters for all the inbound activities such as transfers between warehouses, local purchase, and oversea purchases.
Forecasting – managing the overall warehouse’s inbound and outbound by obtaining information from suppliers/shippers /clients to plan for warehousing monthly roll out plan to avoid bottleneck and ensure inventory turnover rate KPI to be achieved.
Costing – to keep on track on every warehousing expense, freight charges, local transporter cost and other ad hoc expenses to ensure charges are justifiable.
Reverse logistics – handling daily returns activities, identify returns materials reusability, reusable return materials outbound planning and local scrap activities.
Problem solving and handling complaints – handling daily both warehousing and logistics issues to ensure the outcome satisfying for both end user and 3PL.
Identifying warehouse operation issues and continuous improvement plan – to identify the warehouse operation bottlenecks/wastes/ inefficiencies to come out with improvement plan/SOP and ensure the plan review regularly.
Preparing both incoming and outgoing shipment document for custom clearance purpose.
