LLB graduate from the University of London with Second Class Honours (Lower Division), currently pursuing the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) and a Master of Laws (LLM). I am highly motivated to deepen my understanding of Malaysian law and strengthen my ability to apply legal principles in real‑world situations. Through my academic background and internships, I have developed strong research, drafting, analytical, and communication skills, along with hands-on exposure to areas such as conveyancing, family matters, and general legal procedures. Beyond legal work, I bring transferable skills in problem‑solving, time management, client interaction, and administrative support, enabling me to adapt effectively to various professional environments. I am seeking opportunities whether within the legal field or broader industries that allow me to grow, contribute confidently, and apply my skills in a meaningful and practical way.
During my second legal internship, I expanded my exposure beyond conveyancing and gained hands‑on experience in handling accident and family dispute matters. I developed a strong interest in divorce and family law cases, as they allowed me to understand the complexities of disputes involving property, children, and other sensitive issues. This internship also strengthened my skills in preparing and organizing court-related documents, including the Bundle of Documents and various submissions required for litigation. Additionally, I continued to deepen my knowledge of Malaysian property law and learned practical procedures involved in dealing with the courts and other legal authorities. Overall, this experience provided me with a broader understanding of how Malaysian legal firms operate and enabled me to build new competencies from the ground up.
During my internship at this firm, which marked my first experience as a legal intern, I gained valuable exposure to Malaysian property and conveyancing matters, as the firm primarily handles cases related to land law. I learned the foundational processes of conveyancing, including the preparation and understanding of Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA), Borang 14A, and other essential land-related documents. Under the supervision of my principal, I also developed knowledge of estate planning and drafted several wills for clients. In addition, I was trained to make professional communication with banks and relevant authorities to support ongoing transactions. This internship provided me with strong practical skills and fundamental legal knowledge that will support my future studies, including my preparation for the CLP.
I demonstrated flexibility by taking on additional shifts whenever needed, helping maintain a strong team spirit within the store. I consistently engaged with customers as they entered the shop, playing a key role in creating a welcoming environment and offering assistance in any way possible. I regularly carried out price checks to ensure accurate product labeling on the shop floor and supported smooth daily operations by adhering to company policies and procedures. I also enhanced customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and addressing customer queries promptly and professionally.
