• Harvesting operation more to crop quality and maintain the intervals.
• Responsible for upkeep mature and immature oil palm such as weeds control, manuring, upkeep roads and drain maintenance, ablation, pruning and etc. Have wide experiences in spraying system like chemical calculation based on nozzle type and flow rate per minute, spraying productivity, right choice of chemical for good weeds control.
• Able to find out the nutrient deficiency of palm base on palm outlook such as kieserite deficiency, magnesium deficiency, root disease and ganoderma.
• Responsible for various of censuses to ensure palm and bunches are free from economic damage by vertebrate and invertebrate pests such as bagworm, nettle caterpillars, cockchafers, grasshoppers, soft and armoured scales, tirathaba bunch rot, rhinoceros beetle, rats, termites, and diseases like ganoderma basal stem rot, curvularia leaf spot, and carry their necessary treatment.
• Good experience on preparation of sustainability documentation and audit, MSPO audit.
• Also involving in black bunches census to determine palm oil production for next 4 month and to monitor if there any major change in cropping trends at the earliest possible stage by enumerate bunches will ripen within the 4 month period. Also carry out unproductive palm census in 3 month interval to determine the number of abnormal, sterile and dead palms. This is to maximize production of a yield by having full stand in below 10 years oil palm fields by supplying.
• Planning and assisting of empty fruit bunch mulching as at rate 40mt per ha to replenish soil organic, supply nutrients and to gain utilize of palm oil product.
• Responsible for estate store management and monitoring on time the incoming an outgoing of stock items where need to be tally with present balance with a proper issue forms, delivery orders, stock transfer forms and etc.
• Have knowledge in tractor pool maintenance. Responsible to maintain tractors in good condition by doing a proper vehicle maintenance and preventive maintenance system to maximize utilization of tractors to plantation operations and reduce the repairing costs. Also monitoring all tractors related work performance and productivity on daily basis such as tractor inspection, monthly maintenance especially Landini and Ford. To maintain workshop, tractors, vehicles and implements as per DOSH requirements.
• Have some knowledge about soils for oil palm growth, sampling of soil for determine the percentage of soil properties and to maintain a proper water table management for particular soils.
• Establish and maintain an effective environmental and safe workplace within the estate operations.
• Educate workers on standard operating procedure and safe operating procedure in the various area of field operations.
• Implement adequate of training on HIRARC (hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control) for oil palm plantations.
• Experience on preparation of estate budget for vehicle running, crop budget, manuring budget, weeding budget and etc.
• Experienced with leadership and teambuilding skills and know how to create cooperation between co-workers. Able to guide them to fulfill company requirements in term of work performance.
• Able to maintain the good quality management of the company. Always have the initiative to create and show creativity and innovation in work practices.
• Able to create and follow up strategy management requested by the top of management to improve the progress of the company.
• Experienced in term of work related with human resource management. Able provide adequate training for new workers and creating a smooth and discipline working environment.
• Responsible for investigations and incidents report.
• Responsible for all DOSH, EPF, SOSCO, JTK, MPOB returns and any other government requirements.
• Identifying waste and waste management system in accordance to cost and legal requirements.
• Implementing on ground integrated pest management system (IPM) to reduce the usage of pesticide by planting beneficial plants.
