Hello dear, My name is Umi Athirah Binti Paul and I am 32 years old. And now I am working at one big company it's called The Spring Mall Kuching and it's been 10 years. My first job in the spring is as a car park cashier. I am starting in 2015 until June 2024. In some year, I was transferred to a different department. It was called the marketing-customer service department. Of course, there were many valuable experiences and lessons during that period, especially when I went through a role change from Carpark Cashier to Customer Service. I understand, Working in the field of Customer Service does require patience and wisdom in managing various customer areas. Of course, with increasing responsibilities, it can be very challenging. However, it also definitely provides an opportunity to improve communication and problem solving skills.

  • Providing assistance & support: Providing information about products or services. Resolving problems or issues faced by customers. Providing immediate solutions for problems that do not require further action.
  • Managing customer inquiries: Answering phone calls, emails, or direct messages from customers. Providing explanations regarding company policies, prices, or procedures.

  • Controlling payments: Receiving payments from customers using the parking lot (cash or credit/debit card). Providing a receipt or proof of payment to the customer after the transaction. Ensuring the amount paid corresponds to the rate charged for parking usage.
  • Managing the parking system: Ensuring that parking tickets are given to customers when they enter the parking area and collected again upon exit. Controlling and monitoring the electronic system (if any) that detects the entry and exit times of vehicles.
