- Responsible to handle export shipments worldwide
- Arrange for shipment bookings, plan for container movement, arrange transport bookings for shipments to Asean countries, Maldives, Fiji, Middle East, Switzerland, USA, Europe and others.
- Follow up on goods readiness status with planning department, prepare loading list for warehouse team and prepare the customs clearance documents such as invoice & packing list for customs clearance purpose.
- Check LC (Letter of Credit) from customer to prepare shipping documents based on LC clause.
- Communicate with shipping agents on the booking arrangements, arrange container movement with haulier and coordinate on documentation such as SI (shipping instruction), check on draft BL and confirm the BL and provide the instruction to proceed as original BL or telex BL. Besides, monitor the shipment status until the shipment reach the destination port.
- Besides that, apply for certificate of origin (COO) from MITI or MICCI.
- Experience to work with Malaysian Customs for new HS code approval and do the submission accordingly for export clearance.
- Negotiate with shipping agents and secure the best quotation to proceed with CIF shipments.
- Verify all the invoices from shipping agent, forwarding agent & local transporter before pass to accounts department for payment purpose.
- Ensure that the container planning is done accordingly based on the free time given in order to avoid unnecessary additional charges.
- Prepare all the shipments report required by management.
- Optimized supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product availability and customer satisfaction.
