Managing and overseeing cases of commercial crime from the initial report to the conclusion of investigations.

Forensic Analysis:

Conducting forensic investigations on financial documents, computer systems, and electronic data to trace illicit activities.
Collaborating with financial experts and forensic accountants when necessary.

Enforcement of Laws and Regulations:

Enforcing various financial crime-related laws such as the Malaysian Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), Companies Act, and Penal Code.
Making arrests, conducting raids, and securing evidence in commercial crime cases.

Collaboration and Coordination:

Collaborating with other law enforcement agencies such as the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), and international agencies.

Assisting in international investigations when the crimes span multiple jurisdictions.

Public Awareness and Prevention:

Educating the public and businesses about commercial crime prevention, including fraud detection and cyber security best practices.
Assisting businesses in identifying weaknesses in their financial systems that may make them vulnerable to fraud.

Court Proceedings:

Presenting evidence and providing testimonies in court to support criminal prosecution in commercial crime cases.
Working with prosecutors to ensure the legal process runs smoothly

Basic Policing Skills:Learn the foundational skills of law enforcement, including basic patrol techniques, search and seizure procedures, and understanding Malaysian law.
Practice and refine communication skills for interacting with the public and managing stressful situations.
