Tan Eng Heng

A passionate advocate for community theatre, he actively promotes theatre-making in diverse communities across Malaysia, aiming to bring the beauty of performing arts to local audiences. Alongside his profession as a lighting designer, he has contributed significantly to the development of community-based theatre in various states and towns.
He has served as a lecturer at MSC International College, SEGI College, New Era College Malaysia, and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Notably, he was the lighting designer for the SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024 opening and closing ceremonies.
His extensive experience in theatrical productions spans multiple countries, including Singapore, the Philippines, Macau, Taiwan, Korea, China, India, Qatar (Doha Games), Australia, Italy, Canada, South Africa, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Paraguay.
