- From 2003 to 2007, I worked in Dubai as a teacher in computer and communication technology. The "Computer Driving License" (ECDL) is a certification that proves the holder is familiar with the basic concepts of IT, can use a personal computer, and understands the most common applications of computer technology. The purpose of the ECDL certification is:

- Scope
- To earn the ECDL certification, one must pass tests in seven different areas, known as modules. The first four passed modules constitute what is called ECDL Start, which results in an automatically issued diploma. Once all seven modules are passed, a full diploma for the ECDL and a plastic card, the actual license, are awarded.
