Account Receivable (Order-to-Cash)

• Responsible for managing accounts receivable for Indonesia.
• Being in charge of the cash application process for the entity.
• Reconciled accounts receivable ledger to verify payments and resolve variances.

• Covering vendors in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand & Indonesia. Each country consists of several port harbors with multiple vendors.
• Managed to book 200+ invoices in a day during the crew change season in 2020.
• Assess missing invoice reports on a weekly basis.
• Reconciled supplier statements with accounting records and investigated discrepancies.
• Managed shared email inbox for the accounts payable team and promptly dealt with requests.
• Received, sorted, and posted invoices to the internal accounting system.
• Checked figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
• Listened to customer requests and specifications and made suggestions to appropriately fulfill needs.

Account Receivable (Cash Management)

• Covering European countries, consisting of Netherlands, Belgium & Germany,
• Pioneer in a new migration project (2021) of knowledge transfer between EU financial teams to act as a global financial hub.
• Prepare the SOP of transferred knowledge & update it with the new simplified idea.
• Processed and posted daily cash deposits and wire remittance deposits to appropriate customer accounts and invoices.
• Worked closely with management to improve accuracy and resolve receivables variances.
• Resolve errors and queries and escalate to the Country Manager where necessary.
• Prepared a monthly bank reconciliation (Pivot Table).
• Ensure month-end closing deadlines are met.
