I graduated with Honour Degree in Science (Quantity Surveying) from Heriot Watt University Malaysia. Had more than 8 years cross-border experience in Malaysia and Singapore property and construction markets. My background in Quantity Surveying allows me to leverage my experience in Project Management, Sales and Leasing, Procurement of Building Materials, and business development. I converse fluently in English, Chinese and Malay and this language ability is an advantage in a multi-racial environment. Open to working in local and overseas branch development and operations.

• Quantity Surveying. Do costing from conception through completion while ensuring each project meets all legal and quality requirements. Consulting with the client and contractors on preliminary cost analysis. Monitor ongoing expenses, identify potential savings for the client, and produce regular progress reports.
• Tender and Procurement. Cost planning and tenders, contract administration and overall commercial management. Procurement for building materials and focus on quality and costing. Developed and maintained a database of suppliers and subcontractors, improving procurement turnaround times for finishing materials.
• Project Management Support. Collaborated with Project Managers to track project milestones and material procurement schedules. Checking progress and matching schedules.
• Business Development. Property Sales and Leasing. Strive to reach near 100% property leasing at above market pricing. Meet-up prospective tenants to determine lease terms, receiving security deposits and coordinating with current tenants to discuss lease changes. Sales negotiation techniques and ability to communicate well are utmost important.
• Property Management. To ensure tenants comfort and satisfaction, properties need to be maintained at satisfying conditions. Problems aplenty with old properties and need to be fixed immediately - water leaking, stuck plumbing, no electricity, fire hazard, rubbish uncollected, unpaid rentals, co-living problems.
• Adminstration and Operation Duties. Documentation on tenancy agreements, liasing with government departments, handling real estate agents and developers. Ability to communicate well and get the job finalised. Daily works involved communitiating with lawyers, bankers, government personnel, contractors, developers, agents and clients.
