1) Overall manage and supervise plant maintenance for all facility equipment and building facilities such as TNB power supply, fire alarm system, sprinkler system and etc. To monitor all activities related to environment and continuing improving the environmental performance.

2) To support all activities related to Safety, Health & Environment in KESM Industries Berhad.

3) To update & monitor the inventory for listed Scheduled Waste in KESM Industries Berhad.

4) To follow up with the area owner on the quarterly audit at the Scheduled Waste area.

5) To follow up with Training Department on the training related to Scheduled Waste Management.

6) Any further functions that may be required by the employer in the interests of Scheduled Waste Management.

7) To lead and guide facility personnel to carry out building maintenance work.

8) Arrange working schedule and maintenance activities for subordinates.

9) Liaise with other department personnel for production activities and quality issue, such as facility upgrading for new tester and oven, particle count, ISO 14000, sewerage system, Grounding, Temperature and humidity and etc..

10) To improve on the work efficiency and enhance the facilities equipment such as compressor, dryer , air - cond, cooling tower and etc.

11) To be ready on call back to the factory during the off duty hours as and when the need arises.

12) To ensure all MSB and electrical D.B are in good condition.

13) To oversee the safety and proper installation of any project carry out by company.

14) To support and ensure production running smoothly without any interruption such as compress air supply, CDA dew point, air-cond, water, LN2 supply and etc..

15) To report to the management on any major facilities equipment breakdown or production breakdown affected by any facilities issues.

16) To ensure the inventory of all electrical and facilities equipment spare parts are available at all time.

17) In charge for spare parts inventory and to reduce the utilities and maintenance cost.
