Dust Detect tester

  • Led the Design, Drawing, Fabrication and assembly process.
  • Researched and implemented the suitable material to be tested with the UUT to simulate dust flow into the UUT.
  • Automated setup to enable the UUT to move in position while testing and return to datum position once completed test.

Laser marking Station

  • Led the Design, Drawing, Fabrication and assembly process.
  • Automated process with each batch for laser marking contains 10 UUT's with use of sensors and Electro Pneumatic actuators.

Airwatt measurement rig

  • Led the Design, Drawing, Fabrication process.
  • Test machine purposely designed to monitor the airflow and the power needed for 4 different UUT's.
  • Quick-exchange design to cycle through the 4 different units with ease and quickly.
  • Accommodate test machine to fit with the UUT's attachments and equipments such as temperature grid.

Primary Flow Rig

  • Assisted in the Design, Drawing, Fabrication and assembly process.
  • Tester purpose to simulate air flow into the UUT as in normal outdoor environment by creating leak proof chamber.
  • Led the leak testing process to ensure no leakage observed in the tester's air chamber. Conducted positive leak test and negative leak test according to client's requirements.

LED Brightness Tester

  • Led the Design, Drawing and Fabrication process and supervised the assembly.
  • Designed and fabricated tester for LED brightness testing.
  • Usage of sensors and understanding the working principle of LED Analyzers to precisely locate the sensors in the tester.

Engineering Team Project

  • Designed and fabricated an Electricity generating Water Filtration System for rural areas
  • Responsible for the overall design of the system, Designed using AutoCAD 3D.
  • Prepared and assembled the parts to achieve the end product.

Student Industrial Project

  • Handled the Inspection required by Department of Occupational Safety and Health for all pressurized vessels in the Oleochemical Plant.
  • Executed non-destructive tests and inspections of all the pressurized vessels.

Mechatronics Project

  • Designed a smart window which can be automatically activate and deactivate the window shield to safeguard the room from rain.
  • Implemented multiple sensors and actuators to collect data and react to the problem such as rain sensor, ultrasonic sensor, humidity sensor and motor.

Mechanical Systems Design Project

  • Designed a mechanical system for remote visual inspection for confined spaces.
  • Designed a drone that is capable of inspecting the confined spaces.

Final Year Project

  • The corrosion behavior of glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) strengthened steel under high temperature environment.
  • Conducted Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy method to analyze the corrosion
    behavior.
