· Developed and delivered alongside UK Special Forces and the Brazilian Army risk-management processes to enable safe and successful jungle and littoral training programs for UK armed forces personnel visiting and working in Brazil.
· Planned and delivered the safe, inaugural visit to Rio by a RN ASTUTE-class nuclear submarine during a period of significant political disruption in Brazil, leading on all diplomatic endeavor to secure the requisite political support.
· Negotiated and secured diplomatic clearance for hundreds of complex global Air logistics movements through Brazil, between the UK and the Falkland Islands.
· Negotiated and secured significant prosperity outcomes in collaboration with UK Industry, by developing and supporting alongside the Swedish Defence Attache an aircraft marketing campaign to sell Saab jet fighters to Brazil. Awarded the Brazilian Santos Dumont medal for this personal contribution.
· Developed resilience and Command & Control processes, and led UK Embassy crisis planning to support the 2014 World Cup and Rio 2016 Olympic Games. A key outcome was the safe support provided to all GB athletes and the many thousands of British sports tourists visiting Brazil for these events.
Responsible to the UK Permanent under-Secretary of Defence as a key account facilitator within the UK's largest overseas government-to-government Defence programme. Principal accountability for delivering contractual and Aviation Subject Matter Expertise support to both the UK Prime Contractor, BAES and to the Royal Saudi Air Force. · Led and developed a dispersed technical team of RAF and civil service personnel based both in Saudi and in London that provided practitioner expertise and performance contract management functions across aviation operations, flight safety, engineering, training and logistics work streams.
· Ensured the successful and timely completion of the £multi-million Tornado Sustainment Programme and the attendant air weapons capability development project.
· Delivered all requisite ground and air training support to the Aviation Programme.

The Senior Aviation Community leader and Executive Board Member responsible for the operational capability, resilience, sustainment and welfare of all 2000 UK Armed Forces and contractor personnel based in the Falkland Islands and at Ascension Island. Managed a £77 million annual operating budget. Accountable risk owner for all infrastructure and operating environment safety. Member of the Falkland Islands Executive Council of government and a non-voting member of the Government's Legislative Assembly, responsible for managing the strategic and highly complex relationship between the UK Government and its key Overseas Territory in the South Atlantic.
