1.Heading the Litigation Unit within the Group Legal and Governance Department:

• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of complex legal matters.
• Advised on available courses of action and possible repercussions of cases to internal clients.
• Optimized workflow processes through process improvement initiatives, leading to increased operational efficiency in legal case management.

2. Leading the debt restructuring legal workstream for Project Sinar:

• Worked closely with core team of lawyers on court applications related to the Company's scheme of arrangement, among others, the application for the convening and restraining order, extensions thereof, intervener applications and foreign recognition applications, as well as preparing updates for senior management and board therein.
• Collaborated with internal and external teams on the Proof of Debts exercise, and providing periodical updates to senior management and board.

3. Acting as resources manager for the Group Legal and Governance Department:

• Coordinated allocation of legal resources arising from requests of internal clients.
• Conducted interview sessions for new hires (Counsel and below).
• Facilitated onboarding sessions and on-the-job training for new hires.

Lead team in the Marketing & Risks unit of Legal Petrochemicals, Legal Downstream:

• Advised internal clients on commercial/ corporate matters for the sales and marketing arm of Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad.
• Attended discussions on Pengerang Plant corporate issues with joint venture partner.

Lead team in the Logistics Services & Other Business ("LSB") Cluster as well as the Downstream sector:

• Supervising and managing corporate and commercial matters, including advising on mergers and acquisitions, divestment of companies, operational contracts and other matters.
• Provided strategic and high level assessment of litigation matters at LSB Cluster and Downstream sector.

1.Advised on acquisitions for the Company, including the purchase of two biodiesel plants in Kuantan, project implementation and subsequent divestment of a joint venture and other commercial matters.

2. Main legal counsel for two highly contested and impactful litigations, namely a successful action to recover RM30million from former directors of a target company acquired by FGV and a complex international trading case involving ship arrests in foreign jurisdictions as well as defeating an interim injunction application.

1.Lead team in prosecuting and where appropriate, meting out disciplinary punishment to accountants registered in Malaysia.

2. Advised on policy matters related to the accounting profession in Malaysia, including amendments to the Accountants Act, 1967 and adoption of international ethics and professional behaviour codes of conduct into MIA's By-Laws.

3. Advised on legal matters.

Advised and represented clients in legal proceedings at the subordinate and high courts.

Advised and represented clients at the civil and Syariah courts.
