I'm currently floating in General Surgery Department started on 1/5/24

As General Surgery MO UD41 and being part of the Breast & Endocrine (B&E) team , I have learnt to:

• monitored patient progress and adjusted management surgically accordingly.
• assisted surgeon during the operation,close skin and operation note documentation
• done simple procedure such as excision biopsy, incision and drainage, trucut biopsy, wound debridement, and etc.
• managed B&E OT at Hospital Bau, SGH, and Pusat Jantung Sarawak (PJHUS)
• involved in Multidiscplinary team (MDT) meeting 1-2 times in a month and prepared documentation

• involved in daily ward round
• run the ward joblists such as took bloods; blood cs, referred case, attended acute issues
• assisted medical officer done bedside procedures such as incision and drainage, wound debridement, CVL insertion, and took biospy (wedge biopsy, trucut biospy)
• assisted surgeons/medical officers during operation
• involved in Health School Programme, nursing home visit during primary health care posting

I have been one of the enumerators for research entitled ' The Impact and Effectiveness of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages (SSBs) Taxation in Malaysia 2021/2022' under collaboration of United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), Ministry of Health of Malaysia, and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

• assisted participants in filling out surveys with complete and accurate information
• contacted interviewers to rectify survey issues and ask follow-up questions
• analyzed and evaluated data, and recruitment
