PROJECT E&I ENGINEER AT DIALOG E&C SDN.BHD. (OIL & GAS CONSTRUCTION)

• Work with a team of subcontractors to meet dateline for Petronas Gas Project.
• Maintain project schedule, including purchasing and keeping proper levels of project consumables.
• Manpower planning to assist short project date line.
• Coordinate a team of supervisors and senior technicians to support boiler vendors for commissioning task.
• Coordinate a team of loop check technicians to shot control and static loops for GE Turbine - HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) for their generator. (11,33 & 132KV Power)
• Monitor the cable trenching progress for CCTV, fiber optic, plant intercom, fire pumps, break glasses and instrumentation cables to a centralized Siemens PCS 7.
• Update daily and weekly report of the project status to EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Management) main contractor (Foster Wheeler) and liaise closely with the respective project manager.

• System upgrade or migration from pneumatic instrumentation to electro-pneumatic control system for all the process plant and instrumentation.
• Involve in process plant or process troubleshooting.
• Support our ammonia liquid/gas unloading terminal at South Port, in term of weighing system for rail way, sea port flow meter as custodian transfer system.
• Maintain ammonia storage tanks level system with automated filling station at ammonia bottling plant.
• Make sure, the gas leak detection system (Chlorine, Ammonia) around both plant/facilities are always in good working condition for DOE requirement.
• Constantly monitor outgoing waste water instrumentation is in tip top condition for DOE requirement.
• Support annual plant shutdown for Chlo-Alkali process every end of the year.
• Service, maintain and calibrate all kind of instrumentation (pressure, flow, level, temperature, Static/Dynamic weighing, etc.) from each of the three process plants.
• Occasionally assist Instrument vendors (Honeywell, Yokogawa, Foxboro, Rosemount, ABB, Siemens) to set up demo units / products to be verified and test performance of new field instrumentation for plant modernization upgrade of our old instrumentation.
• Play a role in process plant shutdown, where field control valves, mechanical actuators, critical shutdown system, solenoid valves, field local indicators, all process instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature & level) are remove from site to overhaul, repair, service, painting and calibrated to the acceptable accuracy.
• Tune PID controllers (pneumatic or electronics) with loop check.
• Re-calibrate I to P or P to I converter for pneumatic to electronic controller migration task.
• Upgrade or improve single loop PID controller into PC base controls and monitoring system.
