I have been the owner and Principal Trainer ever since the company's inception. My responsibilities include:
- sourcing for clients to promote soft skill training courses,
- preparing Pre- and Post- Training Assessments for training courses,
- customising course outlines and content according to clients' training needs and requirements,
- preparing proposals for clients' consideration and feedback,
- conducting various soft-skill training courses to clients' workforce (either in-person or remotely),
- writing reports upon the completion of courses to update clients of the performance and learning rate of participants, and
- sourcing for Trainers / Facilitators to assist in conducting training courses.
Besides being an IELTS Examiner for many years, I am also the only Examiner Trainer at IDP Malaysia.
My responsibilities include:
- monitoring exisiting Examiners' test ratings and procedures to ensure the ratings and procedures are to standard,
- providing clarification to Examiners if they are in doubt,
- preparing training materials for Examiner training and Standardisation,
- training new Examiners,
- monitoring new Examiners to ensure that their ratings and procedures are to standard,
- running Refresher courses for Examiners (both new and existing ones)
- vetting tests when there are disputes or complaints from candidates,
- training Examiners on conducting Video Conference Speaking (VCS) tests, and
- monitoring Examiners' performance on VCS.
- Taught various subjects related to Academic English to Pre-University students of TESL (Teaching of English As A Second Language).
- Developed customized lesson plans based on students'' unique learning styles, preferences, and abilities.
- Collaborated with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary courses that connected English content with other subject areas.
- Enhanced students' critical thinking skills by incorporating diverse literature and thought-provoking writing materials.
- Served as a mentor or advisor for various extracurricular activities such as clubs or events related to English studies or creative projects.
