• Managing 31 shift Operators perform batch and backup Monitoring, 6 System Administrators perform application System Deployment and 2 Tape Management staffs.

• Responsible for the day-to-day Operational aspects for batch processing, scheduling, monitoring, System Administrator (Mainframe, AS/400, Mobius, Open System and Tape Management.

• Ensure effective Data Centre Operations to achieve 100% uptime and customer service level agreement (SLA) compliance.

• Support strategy and planning related to Data Centre batch operations and tape management.

• Ensure effectiveness of batch monitoring, batch scheduling, backup monitoring, tape management and automation is in place.

• Responsible to ensure accurate inventory and reconciliation of backup tapes.

• Responsible for the destruction and disposal of expired tapes.

• Identify if there are any gaps for daily batch jobs processing and follow up with respective application support team.

• Coordinate with tools team and application team on the batch Automation.

• Coaching and briefing to the team on weekly and monthly basis to ensure everyone clear and strictly follow the process.

• Review and submission of monthly KRI (Key Risk Indicator) reporting for Bank Negara.

• Prepare road map for the improvement of batch monitoring.

• Review all the notices and authorised before the execution by Data Centre Operators or System Administrator.

• Review and ensure all the System Change execute on time by Data Centre System Administrator.

• Review and approval of service request and Master SAM request.

• Manage the performance of the team members and enhance their competency in performing their responsibilities.

• Manage staff resources, reward performing staff and provide continuous coaching and monitoring of staff development.
