  • Overseeing and tactically contributing in orderly, efficient and smooth operations of Bursa Malaysia’s Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) encircling developing and maintaining internal operations processes & rules (both exchange and DBT1)
  • Engaging in shortlisting vendors for project and partnering with the appointed tech vendor to design, roll-out and test end-to-end Trading Platform
  • Designing operation workflows for the VCM and directing Carbon Market Operations team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the VCM.

  • Processing daily trades, reconciling transactions, and maintaining consolidated records of all trades.
  • Working collaboratively with Malaysian Regulators Securities Commission (SC) & Bank Negara Malaysia including responding to their queries with respect to the carbon market control and governance.
  • Partnering with Inland Revenue Board (Central Tax Authority of Malaysia) for taxation treatment and FATCA CRS assessment / implication for Carbon Market business.
