• Responsible for yield improvement, methodology development, controlling introduction of technology changes, monitoring in line defect excursion and implementing fixes to address yield issues
• Monitoring global and/or local site yield performance and helping prioritize yield work within the factory
• Own yield improvement roadmap and work with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions to yield issues
• Supporting in-depth analysis on key processes, excursions, defect failure and interfacing directly with other organizations such as Fab Sort Manufacturing, Assembly Test Finish Development , Test Operations for yield health indicator improvements
• Performing baseline yield prediction for excursions and new products introductions.
• Working closely with internal groups such as Product Engineering Assembly, Test and Finish Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality/Reliability to ensure strong and consistent focus is applied across all factory modules.
• Discovered a 0.3% yield gain potential through workflow analysis and improvement at Finish area.

Product Ramp and Manufacturing Solutions

• Responsible to drive FPGA product yield improvement for best-in-class Unit-to-Wafer KPI.
• Chair Yield Improvement Work Group (YIWG) across functional teams (Fab/Sort, Assembly/Test, Test Content, Quality & Rel, and planning) to drive Sort/Final Test yield improvement , socket elimination, and resolve manufacturing yield issues.
• Well verse with semiconductor manufacturing processes,both electrical testing and metrology/process.
• Competent in performing deep dive data/commonality analysis to search/isolate confounded signals to assess yield impact.
• Engaging worldwide teams on yield optimization across cross-functional areas such as manufacturing setup, test program and wafer fabrication process targeting/tuning.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Managing project in qualifying new product to ensure smooth transition to Manufacturing team.
• Work on the project risk and qualification plan for product released based on the Qualification and Acceptance Criteria.
• Track the project milestone progress and ensure qualification plan within planned milestone.
• On time delivery of device qualification to the production line according to the project milestone (including qualification of hardware and test handler).
• Responsible in product release successfully to production line according to the Final Test Qualification and Acceptance Criteria procedure.

• Support high-volume manufacturing in meeting customer demand.
• Translate product specification and systems requirements into test requirements.
• Perform yield improvement through data analysis from failure modes, quantity affected and fallout rate.
• Responsible on cost saving of Sensors product including test stability improvement, yield improvement, platform conversion, test time reduction and site transfer.
• Owned product final test and perform statistical data analysis to identify improvement opportunity.
• Perform validation on customer returns, work on quality improvement and assurance.
