  • Led the execution in Labuan Gas Terminal for the gas backflow from Samarang to Sabah Gas Terminal via LGAST1 and Erb West(EW) platform
  • As EW start up was prolonged for 1 day due to bad weather after turnaround, this initiative has enabled gas from Samarang to flow to Independent Power Plant in Kota Kinabalu, avoided load shedding due to insufficient diesel supply
  • Drive the replacement of leaking check valve in LGAST2 launcher which avoided 7 months LGAST-2 unplanned shutdown due to spare part delivery
  • Led the team to identify similar check valve specification from LGAST2 gas scrubber (redundant)
  • This has avoided significant potential gas supply interruption from KIKEH to PCM P2 amounting RM 580K
  • Successfully headed and managed the LGAST Tier-2 Emergency drill (Ex-Kerawai 2) as the On-Scene Commander with collaborations with BOMBA, Labuan, Hospital Labuan, LCOT, PDRM and CGSO
  • Strategized overall LGAST2 Maintenance Shutdown during KIKEH TA on the 9th-21st September 2022 by to include vessels that require shutdown for cleaning to be completed and ready for LGAST2 SSI Renewal
  • Drive the initiative to utilize jumperline from LGAST2 to GRT1 due to delay of activity in GRT2
  • Gas from KIKEH successfully flow to GRT1 avoided p production deferment or high flaring at KIKEH around 15-20 MMscf/d
  • Maneuvered the team to take opportunity during EW hub low production due to Kinarut pigging to perform the replacement of EW slug catcher liquid outlet manual valve leaking on valve body
  • With proper planning and coordination with Operations, CMPE and PSOCC, the valve replacement and ESD test was successfully completed 14 hours ahead of schedule
  • Managed and strategized the preservation of LGAST2 Hot oil Circulation Pump P-5660A, Corrosion Inhibitor Skid and Preheater E-2920E by using internal resources and collaboration with static team
  • Drive and successfully completed safely and timely 2 turnarounds activities; LGAST1 TA from 29th March-8th April 2021 and LGAST2 TA from 29th August – 7th September 2021
  • Despite all the challenges faced such as managing turnaround during the Covid-19 pandemic and issue on PSV unable to hold pressure during testing, re-strategizing the plan had enabled the team to complete the mechanical days 6.5 hours ahead of plan
  • Successfully managed the Covid-19 situation in LGAST by leading the team to produce LGAST Enhanced Covid-19 SSOP which we have segregated shift personnel and office hour personnel
  • There was minimal to no interaction between shift personnel and office hour personnel
  • Contractors were not allowed to enter CCR building unless during emergency and required to
  • Additionally, we have also produced LGAST 1 and 2 TA Covid-19 SSOP which supplement the SBA Terminal SOP and LGAST Enhanced Covid-19 SSOP
  • Drive the execution of various Front Line Maintenance and Cost Saving initiatives inaugurated cost saving and cost avoidance amounting RM 3.98 Mil for LGAST
  • Lead and drive the commissioning of Electrostatic Coalescer S-1530 on the 10th to 29th July 2020
  • This initiative was conducted successful by using SOGT internal resources and managed to bring down the BS&W for the offspec crude from the highest of 1.2% BS&W to the acceptable limit of 0.05% BS&W
  • Drive the team in the managing SOGT crude pump strainer clogging issues by initiating rigorous strainer cleaning and tank desludging
  • Proactively planned the resources and strategy in order to keep a continuous flowrate to the tanker such as resorted to strainer cleaning concurrently during loading with proper mitigation and risk assessment, with aim to safeguard the workers cleaning the strainers, via gravity or low flowrate, reduce idling time between low flowrate/stop loading and cleaning
  • Frequent cleaning combined with tank desludging contributed to improved crude loading time after 6th Oct 2020.
