I am a 32 years old graduate, who is holding a degree in Bachelor of science (Computer systems and networking) at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), which is offered by Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. I would like to introduce myself as a detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.

• Migrate old VMware 6.9 cluster with 7 IBM server hosts to a new VMware 7.0 cluster with 7 Dell nodes in Scicom Head office located at Kuala Lumpur. Old cluster had one shared NetApp storage and it was migrated to new Dell Powerstore storage. Entire project was properly documented with all the diagrams as well as the assert inventory.
• Old 4 node VMware 6.5 VXRail cluster was migrated to 3 node HP cluster in Scicom Colombo branch located in Sri Lanka. The old environment was at a critical stage where the hardware and ESXi both were EOL so I took the initiation and highlighted the risk to the management. At the time due to the country situation there were many difficulties to purchase high end devices. Instead of using SAN or vSAN I had to decide to go for a directly attached NAS(Synology) which is cost effective even though the performance will degraded.
• Migrated the Endpoint protection system from TrendMicro to Crowdstrike. The existing system was good but had many performance issues. There for managemet needed to go for a different product which consumes less resources. Based on the requirement did a market research and came to a conclusion to go with CrouwdStrike.
• File Server migration due to EOL OS. there were 2 file servers with Windows 2012 R2. As the OS is EOL we decided to migrate the server to Windows 2019 server. Major problem was one of the file server contained millions of data files which belongs to government project. To avoid the data loss and minimize the outage we had to use 3rd party licensed tool GoodSync to replicate data to new server.
