Graduate with strong technical skills in port operation, ship construction and plant expansion project; engineering drawings, structural design, welding/coating/NDT inspection, class statutory requirement, ship preservation and maintenance, QC tools and surveying equipment.
Work History
Project QA/QC Engineer
3 Years 5 Months- Prepare and review quality document; Inspection Test Plan / Method Of statement / Working Procedure / Repair Procedure / Welding Procedure / Quality Form Checklist & Record.
- Ensure all fabrication, construction & installation works are carried out as per project specification.
- Witness in-house & vendor inspection/testing for civil & structural fabrication/construction work, electrical & instrumentation installation work, and mechanical & piping installation work.
- Plan and invite/notify client for inspection and prepare inspection report.
- Review daily in-house inspection report by subcontractor's QC personnel.
- Prepare final inspection report, weekly quality activity progress report, test package and other documentation work assigned by Construction Manager.
- Participate in weekly production meeting, internal audit, and follow up issue of quality observations, non-conformance and corrective action reports.
Marine Technical Executive
2 Years 10 Months- Ensuring safe vessel operations by monitoring and encouraging safe practices, briefing Masters/Chief Engineers on SMS implementation during operations and voyages, and ensuring vessels are properly equipped and manned.
- Monitor vessels bunker, lubricants and spares consumption and verify ship's Engine and Deck Department spare and store requisitions.
- Attend, supervise and monitor the maintenance and breakdown emergency repairs. Analysis of machinery accidents and failures, prevention recurrence.
- Supervising sub-contractor/shipyard and crew on the maintenance and welding activities during docking to ensure job is completed according to the work scope.
- Ensure compliance of vessels with mandatory rules and regulations, including surveys, inspections, and statutory certificates relevant to the industry.
- Conducting periodic inspection prior to inspection by Client/Class/Mardep to comply with requirements and regulations and submit close-out evidence for any deficiencies found.
- Plan, prepare and arrange Class survey inspection for vessel and ensure vessel certificate valid at all times.
- Liaison with related government agencies and Class for certification related matter and general subject.
- Develop proper record control and monitoring systems for scheduled maintenance and services to meet survey, inspection, and auditing requirements.
Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC)
1 Year 11 Months- Performing in-house inspection/NDT and arrange for class and client/ship owner inspection.
- Review daily in-house inspection report by subcontractor's QC personnel and prepare final inspection & weekly progress report, inspection test plan, working procedure, as-built drawing and other documentation work assigned by HOD.
- Ensure all fabrication & installation works are carried out as project specification and material used are verified and MET certified.
- Assist ship repair department for NDT activity (ship deflection testing, plate thickness testing, dry film thickness testing).
- Participate in weekly production meeting, internal audit, issue and follow up of quality observations, non-conformance and corrective action reports.
Industrial Training
5 Months- Assisting a foreman in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and welding or plumbing codes.
- Assists in maintaining parts inventory, completes work order records, and files all related paperwork.
- Assists area staff as required, responds to special requests. Able to completed designated training on time and receive certificate of attendance award
