Editing and publishing digital news stories for AseanPlus, The Star - an online news portal covering Asean countries as well as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

As Sub Editor for Zula Singapore (offshore hire), my responsibilities include writing and subediting online content that cover beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and perspective stories tailored for Zula's specific audience. I also help with media monitoring and sourcing for trending product and lifestyle content for readers, as well as assignment scheduling for the team of writers.

My job role as Sub Editor was to assist the Editor in assigning the team of writers to produce written content for both print and digital platforms for The Sun, a leading local news media company. I was responsible for curating and editing written content provided by the team of writers for the Lifestyle and Entertainment section of the paper, which is 6 pages in total, 5 days a week.

As assistant editor and senior writer for The Expat magazine in Kuala Lumpur, I was responsible for creating content for both their print and digital publications covering lifestyle, current news, hospitality, and client-sponsored stories. My responsibilities include conducting interviews for featured content, editing work by other writers to ensure they meet house style, liaising with clients for sponsored work, and managing scheduling for sponsored stories.

Main in-house writer for The WhyteHouse Education Group in Penang. I was responsible for writing press releases, creating a monthly digital newsletter for the company as well as editing a collection of 37 Science books for preschoolers.

Conducted freelance content for independent clients and managed my own blog as food journalist and content creator on Storehouse and Medium.

To take on this role I had to complete an Early Years Phonics course as well as study the Australian Certificate 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care. I was Class Leader for children aged 3-4 and responsible for creating class lessons 5 days a week as well as managing 3 class assistants responsible for the care of up to 16 children per class.

Assisted and guided United Nations Delegates from all over the world with PaperSmart paperless program material for the COP18 Global Climate Change Conference 2012 in Doha, Qatar.

Carried out on ground and inflight duties as per company regulated training as well as aircraft safety checks according to IATA standard regulations. Duties included company regulated passenger care in Economy, Business and First Class zones on all international commercial flights.

Provided guidance and support to students during the enrollment process, ensuring smooth transitions into chosen courses.

Improved document organization with thorough file maintenance, archiving outdated records as necessary for efficient retrieval when needed.
