Invasive Cath Lab Procedure

• Prepare hemodynamic transducer, monitor patient hemodynamic status during procedure using ECG and hemodynamic system (Siemens)
• Prepare equipments and assists Cardiologist during Cath Lab procedure include Angio/PCI, FFR, IABP, Rotablator, IVL, IVUS,temporary pacemaker, new implant pacemaker/ICD and pericardiocentesis.
• Ability to assist cardiologist during emergency procedure (On call).

Non-Invasive Lab Procedure

• Performs Adult 2D Echocardiogram procedure with reporting, providing quality of images, appropriate measurement for Cardiologist interpretation
• Assists Cardiologist in Transesophageal procedure.
• Performs various cardiovascular procedure which includes Exercise Stress Test, ECG, Stress EchoTreadmill, ABPM and Holter monitoring
• Performs various diagnostic procedure independently including Spirometry, Fractional Exhale Nitric Oxide (FeNO) , Ankle Bracial Index Pressure ( ABI ) and Fibroscan.
• Assists in clinical evaluation of new machines.
• Identified areas of training among CVT and Nurses by maintaining records of continuous personal development and booking clinical training courses.
• Coordinated with physicians to perform bedside procedures such as intravenous injections and vascular line insertions .
• Precepted junior staff and oriented new hires, providing guidance and mentorship when teaching on department core procedures , emergency procedures, and hospital policies.
• Engage in audits and quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the care provided.
• Develop and implement SOP for cardiovascular assessments and other diagnostic tests and ensure that all clinical staff adhere to best practices in patient care and safety.
• Evaluating the quality of care provided and conduct regular audits among the department staff to address any discrepancies or areas for improvement .
• Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about the procedures and department policies.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Coordinate maintenance and servicing of diagnostic equipment
• Lead projects aimed at improving patient outcomes, reducing wait times, and enhancing overall service provided to the patients.
• Monitor expenditures and seek cost-saving measures without compromising patient care.

• Collected blood, tissue, and other laboratory specimens and prepared for lab testing.
• Precepted nursing and AMO students and oriented new hires , providing guidance and mentorship when teaching on hospital policies, emergency procedures, and department core procedures .
  

• Conducting initial assessments of patients, including taking medical histories and vital signs.
• Performing minor medical procedures such as wound dressings, administering injections, and taking blood samples.
• Providing health education and promoting preventive care, including vaccination programs and maternal and child health services.
• Assisting in the management of chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension, including monitoring patient progress and educating them about their conditions.
• Offering first aid and basic emergency care for minor injuries or illnesses until a doctor can take over if needed.
• Maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing inventory of medical supplies.
• Working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engaging in community health initiatives to raise awareness about health issues and services available at the clinic.

• Involved in the triage process, assessing patients upon arrival to determine the urgency of their medical needs and prioritizing care accordingly.
• Trained to perform BLS and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on patients in cardiac arrest or respiratory distress.
• Manage minor to moderate injuries, including suturing lacerations, dressing wounds, and performing splinting for fractures.
• Performing blood and other specimens collection for laboratory analysis to assist in diagnosis.
• Administer emergency medications as prescribed, including analgesics, antibiotics, and other necessary treatments.
• Provide initial management for acute conditions, such as controlling bleeding, managing shock, and addressing respiratory issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Participate in training sessions and simulation exercises to stay current with emergency care protocols and skills.
