Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Master Schedule or Work Programme using programming tools based on project requirement
• Monitor, update and tracking all activity at site
• Preparing progress report
• Attend progress meeting and related meeting required
• Preparing for Extension of Time and Delay Analysis
• Preparing for tender programme including all the narrative and tabulation.

Project Site: Electrified Double Track Project (EDTP) from Gemas to Johor Bahru Construction of Bridge and Other Works (Section 1)

Scope of Works: The project involves construction of Bridge Structure and Temporary of Steel Bridge such as BRV, ROB, MPB, PB and TRB for the new electrified double track railway crossing from Gemas to Tenang, Segamat, Johor with sixteen (16) number of bridges to be construct with various of length and span. The major scope of works included from construction of bored pile, pile cap, column, crosshead, post tension beam, beam launching, deck slab, installation of parapet, roadworks and drainage work and M&E works under Main Sub- Contractor SIPP-YTL

Contract Sum: RM 128,567,899

Job Responsibilities at Giga Engineering Sdn Bhd:

• Preparing and workout the commitment date to be serve as guidance to project team and sub-contractor to complete the works
• Planning, scheduling, controlling and progress monitoring of project activities in terms of work progress, cost, time and quality
• Reporting actual progress of all project activities and defined recovery plan as well
• Produce monthly progress report, six weeks look ahead, 3 months look ahead and others report
• Liaise with all related parties in the successful completion of the project until handover
• Handling the construction of works in terms of the overall project management planning
• Attending and scheduling meeting when required to ensure the project are as per planned
• Identifying additional works in comparison with original scope and originate change request to client
• Other duties that assign by management.

Project Site: Electrified Double Track Project (EDTP) from Gemas to Johor Bahru (Section 4) - Civil Work; Site Clearance and Embankment Earthwork with All Associated Works from Renggam to Kulai, Johor Darul Takzim.

• Develop the baseline programme with construction team by using Primavera P6.
• Preparing project schedule to serve as guidance for project team and sub-contractor.
• Workout the master project schedule to use as guideline for sub-contractor to produce productivity output.
• Manage and monitor the development of project schedule in terms of work progress, cost and quality.
• Monitor and update overall programme schedule using Primavera P6.
• Produce weekly 6 weeks look ahead, 3 months look ahead and monthly report to various stakeholder.
• Update to the management regarding project planning by conducting analysis and preparing report.
• Liaise with all related parties in the successful completion of the project until handover.
• Handle the construction in terms of the overall project management.
• Preparing application of extension of time (EOT) with analysis of delay event, the impact of the delay, summary and overall of delay event.

Project Site: Proposed Construction and Completion of Block 11 & Block 12 of Academic Buildings for Faculty of Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering and TNB 33kv Substation at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul

• To liaise with the project manager, construction manager and operation team in planning, monitoring and updating the entire program of works.
• To assist project manager and operation team in planning and monitoring the progress of work at site.
• Updating the physical progress and liaise with project manager for forecast activity to achieve the target and advice construction manager on planning matters.
• Preparing the construction planning and other construction activities to client and project management input.
• To provide technical explanation to project manager on suggested planning activities.
• Updating progress project by using Primavera P6 tool and preparing for progress report such as monthly reporting, weekly reporting and management reporting.
• Preparing for application of extension of time (EOT) with analysis of delay event, the impact of the delay, summary and overall of delay event.
• Preparing for the mitigation of works including of productivity works to meet the baseline back.
• Evaluate and monitor sub-contractor work programme to make sure their date within the master programme baseline.

Project Site: Mix development residential and commercial building at Taman Nusantara and Nusantara Prima, Bandar Nusajaya, Johor Darul Takzim.

• Preparing progress report such as monthly report, KPKT report, BOD report and various reports.
• Develop overall development programme.
• Details review on contractor’s work programme submitted.
• Monitoring and evaluation progress of works at site.
• Maintain project scheduled including updates the progress, revised forecast and evaluate any impact.
• Perform programme analysis, research of claims data and preparation of supporting documents.
• Checking and ensure the discrepancy of drawing between tender drawing, construction drawing follows the SPA drawings.
• Coordinate authority inspection and follow up works to be undertaken by contractor for (Certificate of Completion and Compliance) CCC clearance and site inspection together with contractors and consultants to determine all work are satisfied for CCC.
• Issued (Certificate of Practical Completion) CPC and (Certificate of Making Good) CMGD to various contractors.
• Coordinate property handing over activities and defect rectification status.

Project Site: Mix development residential and commercial building at Taman Nusantara and Nusantara Prima, Bandar Nusajaya, Johor Darul Takzim.

• Checking, overseeing and monitor all the progress work are done at site.
• Coordinate all construction activities at site. Monitor all the sub-con works.
• Checking all the measurement and quantity at site.
• Checking all the discrepancy between drawing and site. Reporting to project manager if problem occur.
• Checking all related job at site are done by others contractor and reporting to project manager.
• Checking, overseeing and ensure all the rectification work are done before hand over to M+W Group.
• Ensure the Occupational Safety and Health Management System are adhered at all times
• Planning for site activity.
• Attend for site walk with safety officer of M+W Group and other sub-contractors.
• Liase and coordinate with client, main con & sub con.

• Cadangan Membina Dan Menyiapkan 18 Unit Rumah Kakitangan Jenis C1, D1 & Rumah Berkembar E1 dan Lain-lain Kerja Berkaitan Di Felda Air Tawar 2, Kota Tinggi, Johor for Tetuan Felda Engineering Services Sdn Bhd.
• Cadangan Membina Dan Menyiapkan 24 Unit Rumah Kos Rendah Bagi Projek Pembangunan Perumahan Tersusun Kg Tuan Seh, Mukim Sedili Besar, Daerah Kota Tingggi, Johor for Tetuan Lembaga Kemajuan Johor Tenggara (KEJORA).
• Cadangan Membina Dan Menyiapkan Sebuah Bangunan Untuk Pejabat FAMA Negeri Johor Diatas Sebahagian Lot 6313, Jalan Datin Halimah, Johor for Tetuan Kementerian Industri Asas Tani (MOA).
• Cadangan Perlaksanaan Projek Pembangunan Pendidikan RMK-9, Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia – Projek Khas (Dewan Sekolah, Pejabat Guru, Tandas Sekolah & Padang Sekolah) Pakej 6 (Johor) Sub-pakej 1 at Dewan Banang Jaya, Batu Pahat and Dewan Yong Peng for Tetuan Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM).
• Project Proposed Facilities Upgrading at Kulaijaya Layby Southbound (Phase 2) for Tetuan Plus Expressway Berhad (PLUS).

• Preparing Work Programme for every project by using Microsoft Project. Tracking the program by updating the progress base on schedule and actual on site.
• Preparing progress report, attend site meeting and technical meeting. Reporting to project manager and director the highlighted issued.
• Ensure that NCR receive for project are closed. Prepare for Method Statement for resolve the NCR.
• Preparing for Material Approval to be submitted to client and consultant.
• Join for site inspections, testing & commissioning.
• Prepare and update monthly progress claim for every project
