Management of Change, MOC

Attached under Technology and Process Optimization department as a Process Executive, with minimum supervision coordinates MOC system. Starting from initiation phase to commissioning and ensuring closure of project that follows safety and quality standards.

• Engaged with Engineering Department to provide scope of work, actual data and technical documentations and information from existing database and multiple disciplines such as Maintenance, Operation and Process Safety for Pre-FEED studies.
• Provided data and information such as P&ID, logic diagram, data sheets and GA drawing ensuring the actual data are consistent with current condition in plant.
• Lead weekly MOC meeting to track the progress for each MOC projects with team in order to have mitigate delays in project especially for long lead delivery items.
• Lead SHE Review discussion (low level of risk assessment) and Pre-Start Up Safety Review, PSSR with minimum supervision as part of the occupational and process safety analysis to identif risk and hazards as well as countermeasures for each projects.
• Updated and maintained database from each discussion via Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Reporting of high priority issues to management of Acrylic Complex for efficient measurement by Operation and Maintenance to develop a suitable scheduling and planning plant activity.
• Improved workflow of MOC coordination by creating a new procedure and communication platform with acknowledgment by Process Safety for effective engagement by involved departments.

Pump Mechanical Seal Failure Analysis

• Participated Root Cause and Failure Analysis, RCFA coordinated by Asset management team to troubleshoot the leaking of seal in Centrifugal pump.
• Followed-up work schedule with maintenance coordinator for troubleshooting of seal failure by witnessing the activity of assemble and dissemble of pump by Maintenance team and service provider such as TURCOMP and Petro Seal Plan.

Pressure Safety Valve Re-validation Study

• Prepared Isometric drawings for pressure drop calculation across piping for identified PSVs that needs to be revalidate.
• Acquired knowledge in API standards for sizing and selection of PSV during revalidation study.

• Acquired awareness on PETRONAS Technical Standards, PTS related to turnaround activities.
• Gathered data and information from operating manuals, P&ID, GA drawings and plant layout to produced job checklist for inspection activity.
• Inspected (pre-cleaning, post-cleaning and box up) for equipment such as vessels, reactors, columns, and furnaces, in Hydro-treating and Reforming unit.

• Assisted in daily operational work, involved in process troubleshooting and improvement, participated in shutdown and start-up activity, acquired knowledge in reading Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID) and Process Flow Diagram (PFD)
• Practiced safety procedures and guidelines to maintain safe working environment.
