Team Execution & Leadership: Payroll

  • Spearhead comprehensive payroll operations for over 1,600 employees across nine subsidiaries within the Duopharma Group, ensuring accurate and timely processing via the Boss.net system.
  • Manage end-to-end payroll activities including allowances, overtime, bonuses, and commission payouts in full compliance with statutory requirements, company policies, and regulatory updates.
  • Lead the preparation and execution of Annual Increments and Contractual Bonuses for unionized staff in line with the Collective Agreement (CA), ensuring timely completion by November each year.
  • Administer annual increment and bonus exercises for executive-level staff and above, collaborating with management to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Oversee monthly validations and verifications of the Time Management System through Sandfil, supporting data accuracy for payroll processing.
  • Ensure prompt and compliant disbursement of all statutory payments, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and LHDN, while managing payroll-related statutory forms such as 8A, 8C, 22A, and Borang E.
  • Distribute EA forms to all employees in accordance with LHDN deadlines and guidelines.
  • Played a key role in payroll management prior to the demerger from Duopharma Biotech, managing payroll and payment processing for over 800 employees, including commissions and overtime.

  • Generate monthly payroll reports for presentation to the Head of Department (HOD), providing data insights and ensuring executive visibility.
  • Handle the full spectrum of monthly payroll processing, including preparation, disbursement, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related employee inquiries and complaints, maintaining high levels of employee satisfaction and operational integrity.
