As the Assistant Manager of Fit-Out at gateway@klia2, I spearheaded various initiatives and projects, contributing to the efficient operation and enhancement of the mall's infrastructure and tenant fit-out processes. Notable achievements and responsibilities include:

• Pioneering operations at Malaysia's first airport mall, a 24-hour facility spanning four levels, with an original net leasing area (NLA) of 355,977 sqft and current occupancy rates at 95%.
• Overseeing departmental progress reporting and attending weekly Head of Department meetings to ensure seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
• Strategizing and coordinating the team's schedules for tenant fit-outs and mall projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Managing confirmed tenants and contractors by providing comprehensive design briefings, including airport-specific requirements, regulations, and fit-out guidelines.
• Conducting thorough reviews of tenants' design and drawing submissions, ensuring compliance and quality control.
• Facilitating lot handovers, fit-out/reinstatement works, and inspections, while maintaining strict adherence to timelines through regular follow-ups and monitoring.
• Collaborating closely with other departments, particularly Maintenance, Leasing, IT, and Safety, to address on-site issues, ensure compliance, and meet project deadlines.
• Orchestrating and participating in meetings and site discussions with internal departments, consultants, base building contractors, architects, fire engineers, and local authorities.
• Diligently documenting all site progress and submissions, maintaining detailed records for reference and analysis.
• Contributing to other WCT Malls fit-out and opening projects, including Paradigm Mall PJ, Paradigm Mall JB, and Subang Skypark Terminal.
• Providing design inputs and support to the Advertising & Promotion department for promotional areas and visuals throughout the mall.
• Playing a pivotal role in the Mall's enhancement initiatives, generating design ideas, estimating costs, and overseeing project execution.
• Leading key projects such as the revision of the whole building plan, producing revised Fire Safety Engineering Reports, and leading lot reconfigurations totaling more than 40,000 sqft.
• Spearheading the production of the revised Fit-Out Guideline 2020, enhancing standards and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Driving the Mall's Asset Enhancement Initiative by transforming 'dead space' into lease areas, resulting in an 80% occupancy rate for all reconfigured areas.
• Taking charge of significant projects on the landlord's side, including leading the Food Arcade project (20,150 sqft) in 2019 and the Aerotel project (40,953 sqft) in 2017.
• Successfully managing the department independently for six months in 2016, showcasing leadership and problem-solving skills.
