Driven and innovative professional with a proven track record in circuit development and team leadership, honed through experiences at Logitech and Red Crescent. Excels in analytical thinking and problem-solving, achieving significant team collaboration and project success. Demonstrates a positive attitude and superior computer skills, ready to deliver impactful results in dynamic environments. As an Engineering student at the University of Southampton, I am driven by my aspiration to become a distinguished Aerospace Engineer, specializing in the space flight industry. My passion lies in pioneering innovations, enhancing current technological advancements, and making a major impact in the field. I am dedicated to leveraging my skills and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of aerospace technology.
At the age of 15, I completed a one-month work experience with the GCC Logitech Manufacturing and Marketing team in Dubai. During this period, I gained valuable hands-on experience in mechanical engineering within a high-tech manufacturing environment. I assisted in the production process, learning about the intricacies of product design and quality control. My role also involved collaborating with engineers on optimizing manufacturing workflows and understanding the technical challenges involved in producing advanced consumer electronics. This experience deepened my interest in engineering aspects and marketing methods for persuading purchases and increasing sales.
For my GCSE Electronics coursework, I undertook a one-year project focused on creating an innovative system to help students improve their study habits using various electronic components. The project consisted of several integrated features:
LCD Timer: A timer was controlled by a potentiometer knob, allowing students to set their study sessions with precision.
Handmade Wireless Charger: I designed and built a wireless charger with an integrated stand, providing convenience for students to keep their devices powered while studying.
LDR Detector: An LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) was used to lock the phone in place and detect if it was removed while the timer was active, discouraging distractions during study time.
LED Desk Lamp: LEDs were incorporated as a desk lamp, offering adjustable lighting to create an optimal study environment.
Subject Decider: A subject selector was added, allowing students to choose their study focus with a simple button press.
This comprehensive project was documented in a detailed portfolio, showcasing my design process, technical challenges, and solutions. My project received the highest mark in my school that year, reflecting the successful integration of multiple electronic systems into a practical and user-friendly study aid.
