- Utilize the SAP system to plan and translate demand and supply requirements for work orders.
- Create and complete production orders in SAP, input cycle count data, and reconcile variances.
- Liaise with the purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders meet SAP demand.
- Liaise with the Sales department to meet customer order commit dates.
- Seek continuous improvements, and initiate corrective actions where applicable.
- Review and provide input on Engineering Change Orders. Provide material impact analysis and implement approved changes in production as necessary.
- Resolve all work order discrepancies within 1 business day, cycle count-related problems within 2 business days, and MRB issues within 5 days.
- Notify the Operations Director and Manufacturing Engineering of routing/BOM discrepancies.
- Coordinate on-time delivery of normal production and engineering projects, as appropriate.
- Track demand trends and make appropriate proposals to management to avoid stock-out situations.
- Serve as the primary resource for shipping, receiving, and logistics (including export compliance paperwork and other necessary shipping documents).
- Input product forecasting into the SAP system to drive material demand as per the forecast from the business unit for order fulfillment, and perform other duties as assigned.

- As an SSD Production Planner, I will schedule, coordinate, and support the final approval of products through the entire production cycle, and I will work with the manufacturing production supervisor, engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to establish production schedules and commitments based on BOM, DRAM engineering, and capacity constraints.
