Inward Portfolio Tasks:
a) Initiate and register all incoming claims under the respective CAB and Non-CAB classifications.
b) Review and update claim reserves in line with the most recent claim developments.
c) Process claim payments; conduct assessments for claims exceeding RM10,000.
d) Prepare, review, and submit the monthly inward portfolio report in a timely manner.
e) Liaise with the underwriter to ensure timely processing of temporary claims.
i) Claim Registration
Register all incoming claims under both CAB and Non-CAB portfolios.
ii) Reserve Management
Review and update claim reserves based on current claim developments.
iii) Payment Processing
Inward -Process claim payments promptly and conduct detailed assessments for claims exceeding RM10,000 prior to payment.
Outward- Dispatch payment advice (PA) to relevant co-insurers, facultative reinsure and brokers.
iv) Underwriter Coordination
Coordinate with underwriters regarding claims pending policy issuance.
v) Reporting
-Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of the monthly inward portfolio report.
-Prepare and update outward reports as follows:
a) Impairment report
b) Combined report
c) CCCM report
d) Monthly report
e) Outward monthly report
vi) XOL advices (PLA, RU and PA)
