  • As the OHS Business Partner for various schools (also known as faculties) and units such as School of Medicine, Pharmacy, Arts & Social Sciences and Marketing & Future Students, my primary role was as their consultant and to provide necessary OHS support and advice in their day to day processes and activities.
  • Addition to this role, my expertise has been developed and strengthened in managing COVID-19 pandemic in the university. I ensure that impromptu case management and necessary follow ups are done. Required reporting to relevant authorities such as Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), Ministry of Health (MOH) was done efficiently.
  • I maintained and ensured availability of personal protective equipment (PPEs) such as masks, sanitizers, cleaning and disinfection agents for the entire campus community is readily available at all times.
  • I also trained and inducted colleagues and students regularly. My focus of training has been in the scope of Basic OHS at Workplace, Risk Management, Hazard & Incident Reporting, Workplace Inspection, Fire Safety and Emergency Response etc.
  • Besides that, I am also given the responsibility and opportunity to participate in budget planning and reviewing for the OHS department. This exercise covers the budget for all OHS related processes and activities for the entire campus.
